410 stainless steel plate is a martensitic grade that offers excellent hardness, strength, and wear resistance after heat treatment. It has moderate corrosion resistance, suitable for applications where high mechanical performance and oxidation resistance are required more than chemical resistance. Ideal for cutting tools, valves, and structural parts.

Cutting tools and industrial blades: With its high hardness and excellent wear resistance after heat treatment, 410 stainless steel is ideal for manufacturing long-lasting industrial knives, shears, and machine blades used in metalworking and paper industries.

Heat exchangers and furnace parts: Its oxidation resistance up to 650°C and mechanical strength make it suitable for components exposed to high temperatures, such as heat exchanger tubes, furnace doors, and radiant tubes in thermal processing.

Valve components and pump shafts: The material’s heat-treatable nature and dimensional stability allow it to perform reliably in applications requiring strength and tight tolerances, such as precision shafts, valve stems, and pump rotors.

Structural components and fasteners: Offering moderate corrosion resistance and high tensile strength, 410 plate is used in making bolts, flanges, and frame supports in mildly corrosive or dry industrial environments.

Machined mechanical parts: Known for its good machinability, it’s preferred in parts requiring extensive drilling, turning, and custom shaping — including hardware fittings, engine brackets, and housing components.

1. Surface Protection

Each plate is wrapped in moisture-resistant kraft paper and PE plastic film to prevent rust, scratching, and contamination during handling and transit.

2. Edge Guarding

Heavy-duty corner and edge protectors (cardboard or stainless steel sleeves) are added to prevent edge dents or deformation caused by metal-to-metal contact or pallet pressure.

3. Strapping and Bundling

Plates are tightly bundled with steel straps, both horizontally and vertically. This ensures stability during loading/unloading and prevents plates from shifting during long-distance transport.

4. Palletizing

We use wooden or steel pallets based on the plate thickness and weight. Each bundle is placed on non-slip skid bases for forklift access and safer stacking.

5. Product Labeling

Every bundle is clearly labeled with the following:

Grade (e.g., 410)

Size (thickness × width × length)

Heat number / batch number

Order number or customer reference

🔹 6. Container Loading

Plates are loaded into 20ft or 40ft containers, either flat-stacked or with wooden spacers. Special anti-slip padding or airbags may be used to prevent shifting during sea freight.

7. Delivery Time

Standard lead time: 7–15 working days, depending on quantity and custom cutting requests. We offer urgent dispatch options for repeat customers or critical orders.
